There will be Sharkwatch Community Of Property Investor meetings in Manchester and Liverpool throughout the year. Further dates will follow.
The guest speaker property investment lecture evenings are very popular and early reservations are highly recommended. The cost per member is £10 and are members club only events.

bewarethesharks.com held its inaugural Annual Conference in the luxurious setting of the Hilton London Metropole. The conference was designed to be educational and informative in a relaxed environment. It attracted over 100 delegates offering them the opportunity to meet and network with likeminded individuals, in addition to allowing them to listen firsthand to a series of presentations given by some of the industries leading lights concerning the trials, tribulations and pitfalls of investing in the overseas property market.
The in-depth presentations were staggered throughout the day. An overview of the days lectures was introduced by Dominic Farrell, author of the Amazon number one best seller, The Jet to Let Bible, The timetable for the day covered many aspects associated with successful investing;
- Investing in Overseas Property: How to Achieve Market Beating Returns – presented by Dominic Farrell.
- Raising Finance for Overseas Property Investment and How to Achieve 1000% Returns – presented by Tony Taylor, of Your Mortgage Solutions.
- Tax Minimisation: How to Reduce your Property Tax Liabilities – presented by Anton Lane, of Specialist Tax Solutions.
- Around the World: A Quick Look at the Highlights – presented by Dominic Farrell.
- Currency Risk: How to Gain from Currency Fluctuations and Reduce Risk – presented by Wendy Bundock, of Moneycorp.
- A Property Developers Perspective: What Makes a Great Development? – presented by Dominic Farrell.

The day was organised so as to confer as much knowledge from the presenters to the delegates as possible, in an informal and relaxing atmosphere. Throughout the course of the day, a series of FREE 30 minute private consultation were offered covering Strategy, Tax Minimisation and How to Raise Finance. Needless to say, many delegates took up this valuable option.
Lunch was provided and provided a less formal environment for the question and answer sessions to be continued with answers becoming more specific for the individual.
An exhibition was also displayed in the Berkley suite of the hotel. The exhibition had an array of stands and information from a series of independent organisations, offering the delegates the opportunity to gather information regarding the best avenues available to them when developing and maintaining, a successful overseas property investment portfolio.
After the afternoon session had concluded, there was ample time to take further questions from the floor prior to the closing remarks and expressions of gratitude to everyone that had made the event such a resounding success.
Many delegates expressed their pleasure at the thought provoking concepts and ideals that were invoked throughout the day’s events. Whilst the day proved to be an intense look into property investment, delegates left with a great deal of information to ponder. Many also expressed a deep rooted satisfaction at having ‘such a comprehensive set of notes to take away’.

The key: We all have something to offer the Community, whether professional expertise, investment experience or at the start just enthusiasm and a willingness to contribute. The Community is modeled on the university alumni concept and as such will provide a forum greater than the sum of its individual parts.
